Counselor in Human Development and Family Studies  

Amber Jones is a performing artist and social worker from Charleston, SC. She is a graduate of Winthrop University, obtaining her B.A. in Theatre Performance and her B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies.

Amber is a candidate to receive her Master's degree in Christian Counseling.

Outside of the arts, Amber enjoys working with people who have disabilities to help them navigate through their lives and meet their goals. Amber also is currently in school to be certified as a postpartum doula. Amber has a passion for helping mothers and fathers with their newborns and making sure that neither parent suffers from postpartum depression while transitioning through parenthood. Amber also enjoys helping the homeless in her spare time.

Throughout her involvement with several community outreach programs and projects of her own, Amber ultimately serves as an example of leadership and resiliency. She believes in using her gifts to motivate others to take their rightful position in society and making a difference for the greater good of others. It is her desire to not only serve those in need, but to also be an inspiration to the younger generation to always go after their dreams no matter how hard it may seem. No dream is too big. You can achieve it all.
