As a veteran of the US Navy, Dr. Barker brings a deep personal understanding and a shared sense of brotherhood to his ministry. He holds a Doctorate in Ministry (D.Min.) in Pastoral Counseling, blending advanced theological training with professional ministry expertise. Specializing in military trauma, grief, and anxiety, he views emotional struggles through the lens of scripture, prayer, and faith. 

Dr. Barker provides deeply rooted, Christ-centered pastoral care to support our veteran community, helping individuals heal from the invisible wounds of war by restoring both emotional well-being and spiritual peace. Beyond spiritual guidance, Dr. Barker recognize that structual stress (housing, education, and disability paperwork) deeply affects emotional and spiritual peace.
