Dr. Kenneth Myers, Sr., RN, BA, M.Ed

   Kenneth Edward Myers, Sr. is a native of Barnwell, S.C. and graduated from  Barnwell High school. He also graduated from Talladega College with a BA degree  in Economics; Midlands Technical College with an AND in Nursing; Regent  University with a M.Ed. in Education and additional studies at Clemson University. Dr. Myers received an honorary Doctorate Degree in Ministry from FMI Biblical Studies and Seminary. He is married to Rosalyn Henderson Myers with a blended family consisting of three  daughters and one son. He is a lifelong learner and blessed to have experienced a  diverse career and work history.  


Kenneth Myers has demonstrated a life of service and purpose providing  clinical/administrative expertise in the field of Nursing, Education, law enforcement,  and community service. Nursing- he served as a Psychiatric Nurse, Nursing Home Administrator, Medical  Auditor for Medicaid, Registered Nurse for ACT Team (homeless program). Law Enforcement/Corrections - he served as the Health Care Administrator for the  Max-Security Facility, Medical/Educational Auditor for America, Correctional  Association of America, Youthful Offender Program-Cognitive Behavior Therapy  Clinician. Education - he served as a Health Occupation Teacher and an Assistant Principal for  Elementary/Middle School. His community service includes Neighborhood Associations (Vice President),  League of Women Voters (board member), Democratic Party (Executive Board  local/state), civil service commissioner-city of Spartanburg, Piedmont Community  Action (board member). He is presently employed at the Prisma Health Act Team for the homeless/mental health community initiative, President of Rural Initiatives Foundation, Inc., and a professor at FMI Biblical Studies and Seminary.  


He has a saying that it is my desire to be a vessel for the service of Humanity in the  spirit of love/peace.  His Motto: We must not underestimate the power of love and work!
