Sandra Brooks was born and raised in Barnwell, SC. Early in her childhood it became apparent that she was gifted in several different areas. She excelled academically evidenced by awards in public speaking and the local spelling bee champion. She was gifted in music and the arts where she sang with several local choirs as well as ministered as a pianist. She graduated from Barnwell High School as a Lions Club Scholar.  Utilizing this scholarship, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from S.C. State University in Psychology. After answering a call to ministry, she earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Erskine Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Divinity from Next Dimension School of Theology as well as a Doctor of Biblical Studies from FMI Biblical Studies and Seminary. She has credits towards a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership for Christian Ministry from Grand Canyon University. 

Sandra is a pioneer in business and in ministry.  She began her ministerial journey as a Lay Pastor at Living Word Christian Center.  She was formerly an Associate Minister at Beulah Grove Baptist Church, as well as an Instructor and Superintendent for the Division of Christian Education. In 2009 she branched out into the community with a small women’s Bible Study that quickly became the Christ Central Training and Worship Center. This one event led to several leadership positions:

· Founder & Senior Pastor, Lighthouse Community Outreach Centers, Inc. (formerly Lighthouse Christian Outreach Ministries, Inc.)

· Former Acting & Assistant Pastor, Mt. Hill Community Fellowship Church, Montmorenci, SC

· Former Pastor of Leadership & Development at Abundant Life Fellowship Church, Inc. in Camden, SC

· Former Director of Administration of the Prayer, Praise and Worship Centers of America, Inc.

· Former Dean, The LIFE Institute

Sandra is currently the owner of the Majestic Pathways Travel Agency, Unmistakable Elegance (Make up and Skin Care), Prophetic Pioneers Publishing and has founded and owned several other businesses to include AME Business and Web Services, The Box Catering Service, Sanctuary by the Brook and My Virtual Office Space.  She has held membership positions on the Board of Directors of the ADG Group, Sisters in Christ, The Imani Group, and Sanctuary by the Brook. She has worked with organizations such as Sister CEO, Project MOMs, S.C. Guardian ad Litem Program, S.C. Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Task Forces (Aiken, Allendale and Barnwell Counties), and several other speaker’s bureaus.

Sandra is an experienced counselor for both group and individual counseling in the areas of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. She is a Certified Facilitator of the Symbis system for premarital and marriage counseling. She is certified as a Purpose Life Coach and a General Life Coach. 

Sandra published her first book in 2016 entitled, “The Pursuit of Purpose.” In all that she does her passion for people and her desire to assist people in discovering who they are and fulfilling their destiny is evident!
